  • Payment Gateway Failures: If the payment was deducted but the donation was not recorded in our system

3. Refund Request Process

4. Refund Processing Timeline

If your refund request is approved:

  • Processing Time: Refunds will be initiated within 7-10 business days of approval
  • Credit to Account: The refund will be credited to the original payment method used for the donation
  • Bank Processing: Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5-7 business days for the refund to reflect in your account
  • Payment Gateway Charges: Transaction fees charged by Worldline Payment Gateway are non-refundable

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1 One-Time Donations

One-time donations cannot be cancelled once the payment is processed and confirmed. Please review your donation amount carefully before completing the transaction.

5.2 Recurring Donations

If you have set up recurring donations:

  • You may cancel future recurring donations at any time by contacting us
  • Cancellation must be requested at least 3 business days before the next scheduled donation
  • Already processed donations cannot be refunded
  • You will receive a confirmation email once the recurring donation is cancelled

6. Failed or Declined Transactions

If your donation transaction fails or is declined:

  • No amount will be deducted from your account
  • If an amount is temporarily held by your bank, it will be automatically released within 5-7 business days
  • You may retry the donation after ensuring sufficient funds and correct payment details
  • Contact your bank if the hold persists beyond 7 business days

7. Dispute Resolution

If you have initiated a chargeback or dispute with your bank or credit card company:

  • Please contact us immediately to resolve the issue directly
  • Chargebacks may result in additional fees and administrative costs
  • We will provide all necessary documentation to your bank to resolve the dispute
  • Fraudulent chargebacks may result in legal action

8. Tax Deductions

Please note:

  • If you have claimed a tax deduction for your donation and subsequently receive a refund, you are responsible for amending your tax returns
  • We will provide updated donation receipts reflecting any refunds processed
